How it was made

    Built up

    The skull goes on, and the lettering is built up off the deck by hand in filler.

  2. 02

    Shaped

    Every ridge, eye socket and letter edge is worked smooth, because the finish shows everything under it.

    Primed

    The whole deck is primed white, so the skull, the lettering and the board read as one piece.

  4. 04

    Wrapped

    The woodgrain is printed wrap film, the same kind the shop puts on cars, stretched and laid down over every ridge.
