About DWA
DWA (Drippin Wet Art) creates mixed-media artwork by combining diverse materials and techniques to produce an ultra-realistic look and feel, transforming 2D concepts into high-end, three-dimensional art.
The maker
Brian Stasik builds every DWA piece by hand in Souderton, Pennsylvania, alongside running his vehicle wrap shop. Each one is built up in real layers, so it looks and feels different from every side.
How a piece is built

01
The picture
Every piece starts as a flat image: a car, a street-art portrait, a fish breaking the water. It is printed and set at the back of the frame.

02
The inner border
A carbon-fiber-inspired border in red, blue or purple goes around the picture, printed with the DWA mark and Art you can FEEL.

03
The layers
Then the parts that make it three-dimensional: clear resin cracks, raised water drops, or part of the picture cut out and raised so it breaks past the border.

04
The finish
Some pieces get a red paint splash across the corner. Every one goes into a sleek black 8×10 frame.
Why it looks different in person
A photo flattens it. Move around a piece and the resin catches the light, the drops stand up off the picture and the border steps back behind them.
